The 502 Rangatahi Ora delivers free Primary Healthcare and Social Services to Porirua youth aged 10-24yrs.
Established in 2021, The 502 is the result of many years of dreaming and planning led largely by rangatahi. Te Rūnanga o Toa Rangatira and Partners Porirua are working together to establish free, integrated youth health and social services across the 502 (Porirua).

Primary Health care
The 502 Rangatahi Ora has a team of friendly and non-judgmental health practitioners who can provide free primary health care to rangatahi aged 10-24. Clinics are available at the 502 every weekday, and also some in-school clinics around Porirua will be available.
Sexual Health
If you are between the ages of 10-24yrs and live in the 502 Porirua area we are able to deliver free sexual healthcare to you. If you need support with the following sexual health issues we can help;
Routine STI health checks, testing, treatment, and results
Pregnancy test and advice
Contraception advice and information
Emergency Contraceptive Pill (ECP/Morning After Pill)
Condoms

Social Services and Support
The 502 has access to a range of social workers and youth workers who work alongside our nurses and doctors to provide rangatahi with practical support, information and advice. Our team can help arrange appointments, provide peer support and supply information about services that are delivered by other partners.
